Gunmen burst into a church in northern Nigeria on Thursday, killing at least five people in the latest attack of a coordinated campaign against the country's Christians. The assault came after a warning by the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram, which said it would begin attacking Christian civilians if they did not flee the predominantly Muslim north by Wednesday night. Pastor Johnson Jauro said that several men attacked his Deeper Life Church in Gombe during a prayer service, killing five worshippers including his wife. "I was leading the congregation in prayers. Our eyes were closed when some gunmen stormed the church and opened fire on the congregation," he said.
